Player Development Committee

The Player Development Committee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting Illinois players who have the potential to advance to higher levels of hockey. The committee organizes the annual Player Development and Identification Camps, reviews nominations and recommendations for eligible players, and ensures that selections are made fairly and consistently across all birth years. It also works closely with USA Hockey and the Central District to provide opportunities for advancement to district and national camps. Through this process, the committee focuses on evaluating players based on their performance, effort, and potential rather than their team or organization.
