Blind Hockey Committee
The Chicago Blind Hockey Committee meets monthly on the third weekend to support the growth and development of blind hockey in Illinois. Its primary purpose is to plan events for players throughout the season while also checking in with coaches to ensure they have the resources and support they need. The committee frequently addresses questions about expanding opportunities for players, such as increasing travel events, participating in more USA Hockey–hosted events, and securing greater fundraising support. Another key focus is raising awareness of blind hockey to reach new participants and promote the continued growth of the game within the community.
