Player Safety Committee

The Player Safety Committee works to promote a safe playing environment for all hockey participants in Illinois. The committee meets as needed during the season and focuses on sharing safety information and regulations from USA Hockey with players, parents, and coaches.Its responsibilities include educating members about injury reporting, clarifying equipment requirements, and addressing safety-related questions. By keeping participants informed and compliant with established standards, the committee helps reduce risks and supports the well-being of athletes on and off the ice.
