ATTENTION ALL POTENTIAL OFFICIALS
IHOA HAS (3) REMAINING LEVEL 1 SEMINARS FOR THE SEASON
PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS & DETAILS

Level 1

1.  Register as a Referee with USA Hockey after June 1st, 2023 (Fee Required)– This is different from the player registration, and both are required if you plan to play & officiate.
   1. USA Hockey Registration
2. Register with IHOA and select an in person seminar after July 1st(Fee Required)
   1. IHOA Registration
   2. IF this is your first year registering with IHOA, you will need to wait at least 24 hours before registering with IHOA in order for your information to be transferred over to our system.
3. ***OPTIONAL BUT STRONGLY SUGGESTED
   1. Watch IHOA video with additional material not covered within in person seminars
   2. IHOA will distribute these at the conclusion of your in person seminar
4. Complete USA Hockey Open Book Test through your profile on USA Hockey’s website
   1. USA Hockey Member Profile
5. If over 18, complete Safesport training through USA Hockey’s website
6. If over 18, complete background screening through USA Hockey’s website
7. Attend the IHOA in Person Seminar & USA Hockey’s Virtual Seminar
8. Once all requirements are complete USA Hockey will send you your Card & Crest for the year and you can start requesting games.
