The Illinois High School Showcase Teams (1 Boys’ & 1 Girls’) will compete in the 2024 America’s Showcase April 17-22, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. The purpose of this historic event will be the continuation of traditions established over the past thirty-three years. The Showcase is designed to allow high school hockey players from around the country the opportunity to compete against the best of the best during this five-day period with the prospect of being seen by every major hockey institution in North America. We wish this year’s High School Showcase Teams good luck as they seek to bring home the National Title to Illinois.

Formerly called the Chicago Showcase and renamed to USA Hockey America’s High School Showcase will be conducted April 17-22, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. It will be hosted by the Mid States Hockey Club.

Twenty-four boys' teams and ten girls’ teams from across the United States representing forty-three States will compete and showcase their talents to coaches and scouts from every major hockey institution in the country.

The purpose of this prestigious event remains the same. It is designed to allow high school hockey players from around the country, who do not traditionally get scouted due to geographic and budgetary constraints within the scouting circles, the opportunity to compete against the best of the best during a five-day period and be seen by every major hockey institution in North America.

FOR OUR INTERESTED MALE PLAYERS:  During the year, high school coaches from America’s High School Showcase Illinois Team have been rating players throughout Illinois. Invitations will be mailed inviting those high school players they have recognized as potential candidates for the team to tryout. There will be three (3) tryouts for everyone to determine the final America’s High School Showcase Illinois team. 

FOR OUR INTERESTED FEMALE PLAYERS:  The Girls’ Showcase Team is open to all Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in an Illinois High School.  If space allows, we may roster up to six (6) Sophomores.  You are not required to play on a Girls’ High School team to be eligible since not all Illinois Schools have this option.  You are required to be on a current properly registered AHAI Affiliate Girls’ 16u or 19u team or a properly registered Youth team.
