Programs

The Amateur Hockey Association Illinois, Inc. has developed many different and unique programs for its members over the past forty years. Some of these programs include the screening of all coaches and managers, mandatory seminars for all of our coaches and referees, financial and administrative assistance for the development of our girls program, initiatives for learn-to-skate and cross ice programs and jersey STOP signs for promoting safety and awareness.

In addition, AHAI has become a leader in making hockey available to everyBODY by promoting disabled hockey participation through its youth sled hockey program called the Hornets, its Special Hockey Program called the Tomahawks and its support of the Hearing Impaired Hockey School. AHAI also has a Diversity Hockey program designed for kids of diverse or economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

We encourage you to read through each of the various programs offered by AHAI and take an active role in building our sport.
