Illinois Hockey Community,

As we are getting into the thick of League playoffs & the State Tournament + given the number of injuries this hockey season, I'm sending this reminder to practice & play safely.

Neck Laceration Protectors Are A Required Equipment item that must be worn at all times when on the ice....this includes games AND practices. 

Coaches, please lead by example as you are required to wear your hockey helmets while on the ice for all practices. 

Officials, please wear all required protectors (elbow pads, shin guards, etc.).

As Leaders, let's all do our part to show our athletes how to have fun while being properly protected with equipment that fits properly, is worn properly to work effectively.
