AHAI, USA Hockey and OneGoal have partnered to help overcome the initial cost barrier of entering into hockey by making available, at a very low cost, special First-Timer Rental Equipment Kits for all interested USA Hockey associations and Star ice rinks. By taking advantage of this special offer you can take a vital, active role in making it easier for parents to give hockey a chance in their family.

Each Set costs just $86.00. Sets will include helmet w/cage, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, gloves, shin pads and bag. Sets are available in two sizes – Small (Red Bag), for 4-6 year olds and Large (Black Bag), for 6-8 year olds. The equipment sets are co-branded USA Hockey/ OneGoal and marked Rental (In Large Block Lettering) to encourage the recycle use for starter programs and not long term use or resale.

Smaller sized sticks are also available for $8.00 each (Limit one stick per bag).

Local retailers are supporting the program as once the new skater has gone through the initial Learn- to-Skate/Play Hockey program and turn in their Rental equipment, the first place the player and his/her family go is to the local equipment store to purchase their own equipment. A win-win for everyone, especially the kids.

In an effort to help keep costs down so we bring more new kids into the game, AHAI has a OneGoal Equipment Grant Program up to $3,000.00 per association/club for qualifying organizations.

This is a great opportunity for AHAI and USA Hockey members and rinks to acquire starter kits at an unbelievable price. Please pass this on to any interested organization.
