Amateur Hockey Association Illinois

Illinois State Championships are sponsored, in part, by the Chicago Blackhawks and are presented by Hinkley Springs. There are 32 separate Divisions of the Illinois State Championships presented by Hinkley Springs.

The quest begins in early February with the Elimination Rounds and concludes with the championship games in all Divisions in mid-March.

Teams are ranked in the various Divisions after input from their respective coaches and Tournament Committees.

We encourage hockey fans from across the Midwest to come out and watch exciting state championship hockey in 2013.

AHAI has retained AthletiCo to provide trainers at State Tournament games for all “checking divisions”.  Trainers will provide player evaluation and recommendation for all potential injury and head trauma incidents.  So expect to see a trainer at the State Tournaments.  Complete coverage will also be provided for all High School games on “state ice” at Bensenville.
